Competense

Since 2016, TFS has had six announcements in the TFS Starting Grant programme, with the aim of contributing to competence building at UiT Norway’s Arctic University. The foundation’s “flagship” is the TFS Starting Grant, a recruitment program that has helped to recruit 16 outstanding researchers from all over the world to UiT. In addition, the foundation has supported 3 Toppforsk projects, and 1 competence project in mathematics (part of a national call from the Trond Mohn Foundation).
