NOR-OPENSCREEN is a national consortium funded by the Norwegian research council and offer HTS technology through four nodes in Norway. Marbio is one of the four nodes and offer services for bioactivity screening and analytical chemistry with a special focus on marine bioprospecting. In this project, it was invested in an automated colony picker for microbes. The system can pick and spread colonies, spread and do liquid transfer and track results. This system offers a significant expansion of the Marbio platform.
